JEWEL CASE MINIATURE PAINTING” “Floral Study in White” is a recently completed acrylic paintings on 11.5mm x 13.5mm art card. It will be provided in an innovative CD jewel case as a frame. It will come with a plastic hook for hanging or it can stand upright on a table. It will be posted in an Australian Post Box. I search for visual inspiration from the landscape and flora, aiming to capture the fleeting moment, the transient effect of light and shade. I often paint directly from life with speed and directness, aiming to distinguish my paintings with freshness and immediacy, but like the Impressionists I often complete my paintings in the studio.
